Went out to the range two more times, one on Saturday morning and one this morning. Put 142 rounds through the Beretta on Saturday, and 75 rounds this morning, giving 517 shots fired through it without a single problem since I've owned the gun. Been shooting nothing but ball rounds though. Havent tried any hollow-point rounds to see how the Beretta will do with them.

Nice. You've done more shooting with your new Beretta over the last few days than I've done with my carry piece over the last few months. I really need to get to the range.
If it feeds well with FMJs, you likely won't have problems with HPs. Usually feeding problems can be traced back to the magazines, not the ramp. Sounds like you've got a keeper.
For practice, stick to the FMJs. If you are looking to try some defense ammo, let me recommend Speer Gold-Dots to start. They have been the choice of the fuzz for a while, and are reliable and relatively inexpensive compared to the more exotic stuff. They'll set your mind at ease that HPs will feed reliably in your pistol.

I do plan on sticking to FMJs for practice, but thanks for the recommendations for the defense ammo.
