Currently in the process of upgrading my Sager notebook. I had Ubuntu Dapper 6.06 on there, and I'm upgrading it to Ubuntu Edgy 6.10, following these instructions. Unfortunately, I've customized my install of Dapper with a few tweaks...
Well, I've simply created a couple of blocks containing the links I want to add in an unordered list. Later on, I might see if I can use the API from the Links Package to organize links.
Well, it looks like some more ranting of Drupal is on its way! Truthfully, I really do like Drupal, especially with some of the great work done on the version 5 series. I just have a couple minor issues about how it works in a few matters when I was setting up a prototype site based off of Drupal 5.1.
Seems as though I've hit on a pretty rare issue with Drupal 4.7.6 on my anime weblog: basically, when logging in, the site would give no error but simply return me to the page I was on without logging in. This seems to be a fairly old issue and very difficult to replicate issue if topic on Drupal's forums means anything. There's also this entry in the bug tracking system that's related to this login problem. Fortunately, it seems I've resolved this issue on my install. Rather annoying if you can't login to put in posts and what not. Fortunately, I haven't hit on that issue on Drupal 5.1 on this site, but it seems others have hit it on the newer version.
