A Cajun-Asian View

Looks like Beryl developers are talking about merging with Compiz. Beryl originally forked from Compiz because several developers were dissatisfied with the amount of patches that were being rejected and the conservative route Compiz was taking. Hopefully, this possible merge is a sign of good things to come, and that the advances that Beryl has made can be merged with the stability that Compiz has aimed for.

Reading through the mailing list archives, I picked up that it seems the Beryl developers have "Coral" in mind for the name of the merged project.
