Notebook Linux Upgrade

Currently in the process of upgrading my Sager notebook. I had Ubuntu Dapper 6.06 on there, and I'm upgrading it to Ubuntu Edgy 6.10, following these instructions. Unfortunately, I've customized my install of Dapper with a few tweaks...

  1. I've been using the fglrx proprietary drivers directly from the ATI website.
  2. I've installed XGL and Beryl (Formerly Compiz), which was the reason I installed the above ATI drivers.

There's a few other things, but these are the main parts that I'll have to work through to get my notebook at a functional state.

Hopefully, this won't take all night...
