Attempt at a patch this weekend

Seems I got bitten by this bug in the Comment RSS module for Drupal on my anime blog site. Technorati seems to be picking up the comments instead of the actual posts from the site, and I'm sure there's other aggregating systems that are doing the same when trying to automatically find the default RSS feed for the site. Looking in the source code for the blog shows that the Comment RSS feed is linked before the frontpage RSS, causing this issue.

I hope I can get some time to work on a patch for it this weekend.

Can't place me finger on it

Something seems odd today. I wonder what it could be?

UPDATE: For those going "What the hell are you getting at, Nick?", I had the Pirate module installed and running on here on September 19th.

Arrr.

The End of an Era

The DM of the Rings webcomics has finally come to a close. I don't do much D&D gaming myself, but I have plenty of friends that do, and Shamus Young's parody of the Lord of the Rings movies (which I have never seen yet, but I did read the book) often had me in stitches.

I originally came to Twenty Sided for some of Young's posts on anime, but I ended up staying for the webcomic and his other posts. I really should take his site off of the blogroll on my anime weblog and move it here, as it's more appropriate.

Hopefully, his new project, Chainmail Bikini, will continue to, as a few of my friends say, "bring on the lulz". I think that's the slang the kids use these days...
